Miss Sweetheart 2016-2018

Miss Sweetheart 2016-2018 is Kaitlyn Watson. She attends St. Joseph Catholic School where she is a member of the speech and debate team, Service Club and Spanish Club, and she works for her school paper, The Bruin Buzz. Kaitlyn was also the first place winner of the chapter's 2016 Ann Gordon Oratorical Contest.  She wants to attend Spelman College in Atlanta to study English and political science, and hopes to become a lawyer. Kaitlyn is the daughter of Charles and Kinshasa Watson.

"I have been involved with Jack and Jill since I was very young," she says. "It has given me many opportunities that I wouldn't have had. It also gives me many opportunities to do community service. That is my favorite part about the organization. "

Miss Sweetheart Ball, the chapter's major fundraiser, is a biennial formal presentation of young ladies to society.
